Great Place to Work®, four years in a row!As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be a key technical leader driving the architecture and execution of complex space systems. You will lead engineering trades, ensure system reliability, and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge spacecraft solutions. This role demands deep expertise in systems engineering, leadership capabilities, and a strong ability to mentor junior engineers while delivering high-impact technical solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Define system architectures and lead system-level engineering efforts for spacecraft and space systems.
Develop and manage requirements, interface control, and verification strategies.
Conduct advanced trade studies, risk assessments, and performance analyses.
Lead integration, test campaigns, and mission readiness activities.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers.
Serve as a strong technical interface for customers and external stakeholders.
Drive system roadmaps, feasibility studies, and new business initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Lead departmental continuous improvement projects. Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in systems engineering, spacecraft development, or similar technical leadership roles.
Expertise in model-based systems engineering and spacecraft system design.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional engineering teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Extensive experience with system-level troubleshooting and risk assessment.
Effective communicator with the ability to present complex technical solutions to stakeholders. Additional Information
