Senior Substation Site Civil Engineer
Job Description:
• perform design reviews on a regular basis
• develop junior staff members
• contribute to bids and proposal development
• take a responsible engineer role on main client projects
• oversee the work and ensure quality control on design packages
• site-visits to client substation facilities
• occasional travel for client meetings and industry related events
Requirements:
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of directly applicable civil-site design experience
• Experience with Greenfield/Brownfield Substation Design and BESS Stations (preferred)
• EI/EIT certification (preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and/or MicroStation OpenSite Designer software
• Experience with Hydraflow, ICPR, or various other hydrologic and hydraulic modeling & design programs
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and other general software tools
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Team player with ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
• Able to execute projects and handle clients successfully with limited supervision
• Willing to travel, up to 25%
• Authorized to work in U.S.
