Choose growth Our Group Treasury consists of the following teams : Investor Relations, Captive Finance and Structured Finance. AUTO1 Group is a leader in using ABS financing technology. In addition to our unique existing ABS programme for our used car inventory, we are building a large captive finance business which we refinance in the ABS market, including our groundbreaking public market transaction, FinanceHero 2, the first one ever to combine German and Austrian customers in one facility. As we build the best way to buy and sell cars online we will also build the best ABS and captive finance business in the European car space. This is a great opportunity for a young professional in the securitisation space to move to the issuer side. While you will have a better work life balance, you will still have the excitement from being part in the growth and development of a key issuer in the European ABS space. Our headquarters are in Berlin. We have some flexibility for remote working but you will be expected to be in Berlin at least for an initial on-boarding period and subsequently be able to meet with colleagues on a regular basis in Berlin or London. Your new Role • Support the extensions, upsizing, and new jurisdiction processes for our asset-backed securitization programs for inventory, dealer receivables, and consumer loans. • Expansion & New Structures : Support the onboarding of new jurisdictions in current and new ABS facilities as well as new public market transactions, ensuring adequate processes are in place. • Process Improvement & Automation : Lead initiatives to automate and optimize ABS related processes, reducing manual workload and enhancing efficiency • Work closely with rating agencies, partner and prospect banks, external law firms, back-up servicers and corporate service providers . • Work closely with internal stakeholders, especially in Accounting, Cash Management and Reconciliation, Legal, Tax and Risk, Technology and Financial Systems, and FP&A to ensure smooth operational processes. Your Skills • Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field • Work Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structured finance, ABS, securitization, or a related field, preferably within a financial institution, auto finance company, or investment bank • Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau), and financial modeling in Excel. Experience with securitization-specific software (e.g., Moody’s ABS Suite, S&P Global solutions) is a plus. • Regulatory Knowledge : Solid understanding of ABS structures, investor reporting requirements, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ESMA Securitization Regulations, IFRS 9, STS framework). Prior experience of Italian Law structures and related reporting to the Bank of Italy is a plus. • Attention to Detail : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to data integrity and reporting accuracy • Communication & Stakeholder Management : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders, investors, and regulators • Language Skills : Fluency in English is required; German and / or Italian is a plus Our Offer • International teams • Personal growth with the contribution of own ideas • Employee benefit platform with countless discounts on your purchases • Health offerings : vaccinations, occupational check ups, mental health program • Above-average corporate pension plan • Purchase discount for your next car You do not meet % of the requirements?
