We're looking for a Senior Statistics Architect to join our Customer Listening Team in Costa Rica, working remotely, to help transform the Voice of Customer (VOC) methodology and drive business growth. About the Role The Senior Statistics Architect will play a critical role in transforming and innovating the end-to-end Voice of Customer methodology. You'll work closely with product and process owners, subject matter experts from Qualtrics, and the Agile team in Technology to develop and maintain the new VOC methodology sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the Survey and Dashboard platform hosted by Qualtrics. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with utility teams to define, frame, and capture business needs, leveraging knowledge of VOC methods to transform data within the Cornerstone Big Data platform. Design and build robust data model architecture to aid in efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions. Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at variable and use case levels. Provide guidance to enhance competencies to drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem. Drive consumer tale analysis and elaboration, design, and development of software programs, testing, and builds automation tools. Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency. Work closely with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, develop, and test the data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end methodology. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: At least 3 years of hands-on development experience on Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell Scripting languages, development launch management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven tasks. Active collaboration with relationship managers/product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables. Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery, where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to the business groups. Strong understanding of data modeling, data processing, and data quality. Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment. Knowledge of VOC methodologies and customer experience. Familiarity with Qualtrics survey and dashboard platform. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
