Senior SRE

Role: Senior SREAt Zarego, we specialize in software architecture and custom web and mobile app development. With over a decade of expertise, we deliver bold, innovative solutions for clients of all sizes, from visionary startups to multinational companies.We are looking for a Senior SRE to join a team that works on a complex distributed architecture, spanning physical machines and virtualizing on-prem host/cloud computing.Requirements: 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in a similar role.Practical experience with Linux-based systems, focusing on optimization and troubleshooting Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for scripting, automation, and system management.Strong knowledge of container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes (K8S). Experience with other cluster management tools (like Slurm) is a plus.Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible to automate and scale infrastructure managementWorking knowledge of Docker, Podman, or other containerization systems to enable efficient and consistent deployment.Experience working with CI/CD tools, especially GitLab, GitHub, or GitExperience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.Understanding of relational databases, their performance tuning, and management in distributed systems.Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP is a strong plus. English: Advanced levelSpanish is a plus!
