Senior Sports Event Coordinator

Our client is seeking a highly organized and energetic Senior Sports Event Coordinator to join their dynamic team in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, US . This role is crucial in planning, executing, and managing a wide range of sporting events, from local tournaments to large-scale championships. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection and management, vendor negotiation and coordination, budget management, and on-site execution. Success in this role requires a meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and a proven track record in event management. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, sponsors, and community groups, to ensure seamless event experiences. Key responsibilities include developing detailed event plans, creating marketing materials to promote events, managing event staff and volunteers, and handling post-event analysis and reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all events comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
