What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health: Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships. Responsibilities: Monitor terms of Prime Vendor distribution contract as it pertains to Supply Chain and Procurement, particular focus on Fill Rates, Price Match, and days sales outstanding. Bridge relationship between the customer and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service to customers and an optimized supply chain. Manage customer expectations and requirements through proactive account review, facilitating issue resolution, and keeping customer informed of key initiatives. Prevent order disruption to customers through elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversions. Coordinate and communicate Cardinal Health initiatives to the customer as needed. Track, measure, and report Cardinal Health Key Performance Indicators monthly. Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customers to support retention of the account. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred 2-4 years of customer management experience, preferred Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), preferred Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships. preferred Ability to travel to customer locations, as needed is preferred What is expected of you and others at this level: Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve Applies judgment within defined parameters Receives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy Anticipated salary range: $57,000.00 - $81,600.00 Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
