About the RoleAs a Senior Solution Architect, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare technology at Fabric. You'll lead the design and governance of enterprise-wide technology solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives, drive innovation, and support scalability across our customers' organizations.You'll serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical engineering, ensuring all technology investments support our long-term vision and operational goals within the dynamic healthcare space. We value vigorous conversation, deep research, and a strong sense of what needs to get done, all while working collaboratively with dedicated teams.As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will:Architecture & StrategyUtilize an enterprise architecture framework, covering application, data, integration, and infrastructure domains.Translate business strategies and product vision into scalable, secure, and efficient architectures (both technical and clinical).Define key data sets to inform product development, leveraging customer feedback and market insights.Systems Integration & OptimizationArchitect integration solutions across internal systems and external platforms (including EHRs and third-party APIs).Lead initiatives to streamline business workflows and data flows between systems using middleware, iPaaS, or custom integrations.Guide the modernization of legacy systems and solutions.Governance & ComplianceEnsure architectural decisions align with HIPAA, HITRUST, and current security best practices.Utilize best practices for system interoperability, scalability, and resilience.Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate with product, security, clinical, and operations teams to ensure architectural alignment.Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into sustainable solution plans.Documentation & CommunicationCreate clear architectural diagrams, decision logs, and comprehensive technical documentation.Present complex architectural concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.7+ years of experience in enterprise solution, or business systems architecture within the healthcare industry.A solid understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and microservices architecture.Experience in healthcare IT and familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), HL7/FHIR standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise technology transformation initiatives.Hands-on experience with integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato) and data strategy (ETL, warehousing, analytics).Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to travel, estimated at 10%.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with agile software development practices.Background working in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.A technical or product design background, or a clinical background.Learn more about FabricLinkedInAwardsPress ReleasesCareers PageAt Fabric, we believe that a diverse workforce is essential to our success.
