Senior Software QA Engineer - Remote
As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans that directly impact our customers' success.
Key Responsibilities
Design detailed test plans and write comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
Execute both guided and exploratory manual tests, following established processes to identify defects and ensure product quality.
Collaborate with scrum teams to plan, estimate, and verify user stories and acceptance criteria.
Develop strong expertise in your assigned domain to anticipate potential issues and recommend improvements.
Communicate progress, metrics, and identified risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure adherence to Revvity Signals best practices and compliance standards.
Create detailed and accurate test summary reports with clear insights and recommendations.
Act as a customer advocate by understanding how our products are used, identifying potential pain points, and championing solutions that enhance user experience.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 Years of experience testing high-volume, scalable Enterprise Software Solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Science-related field.
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
Solid understanding of the Quality Assurance Lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in Test Case Management and Bug Tracking Systems such as Jira and Zephyr.
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a passion for problem-solving.
Ability to effectively communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Emphasis on good UI design with exceptional attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and proactively.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving processes.
Ability to work collaboratively in a Multi-Site, Multicultural Team environment.
