Role Description
As a Senior Software Test Engineer (SDET), your main responsibilities would revolve around:
Test planning, test automation, test execution, analysis, collaboration, and continuous improvement at GoTo.
Increasing the bandwidth of teamβs delivery speed by modernizing and maintaining test automation frameworks and test suites across various cross-functional teams.
Deeply understanding our existing system and features.
Becoming a lead SDET engineer in one of the ITSG teams and actively participating in creating and implementing the testing strategy across teams.
Challenging continuously the "why" and how it serves customers.
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant, professional software testing experience and mentoring experience.
Experience in one or more programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
In-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices (regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and security testing).
Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and libraries such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
