What is the Senior Software Engineer role? We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer with 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development, specializing in both native Android and Kotlin multi platform (KMP) framework. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-quality mobile solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust architectures. What you'll be doing: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications primarily for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize performance, ensure reliability, and resolve bugs for production releases. Work on multi-framework mobile projects and help evolve our mobile architecture. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews and automated testing. Assist in driving continuous improvement of mobile development processes and tools. Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for mobile deployments. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile technology. What you'll bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design. Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile app security best practices. Proven experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across platforms. Oversee the integration of third-party APIs and services. Bonus Points for: Familiarity with iOS development (Swift) is a plus. Working knowledge of BLE device integration is a plus Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure) for mobile backends. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (JUnit, Detox, Espresso, etc.). Contributions to open-source projects or published apps on Google Play/App Store. Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring tools.
