Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) role… We are looking for a senior-level Full Stack developer to join our team. In this role, you will use your full-stack development experience to build and enhance our products. Our projects vary between natively developing in our new cloud-based microservices architecture, expanding our micro-frontend (Vue3) and improving internal tooling such as data migration. What you’ll do… Refine, design, and deliver product requirements. Work with a cross-functional team in an agile methodology Participate in the roadmap, release, and sprint planning Write clean, well-organised and testable code Make appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, and extensibility and be able to articulate why you made those choices What you have… Extensive experience in multiple languages, including Node.js and Ruby on Rails, to help us build backend systems and features Experience with TypeScript and/or Kotlin is a plus Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js Knowledge of APIs and frameworks such as REST, GraphQL, Apollo, Express and Spring Boot is a plus AWS experience across one or more of the following EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, and S3 Competent with database technologies (e.g. RDMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL) Understand code testability, build pipelines, Docker and CI/CD systems Keep up with best practices, latest technologies and programming languages/frameworks as needed Liaise and work with product and other technology and delivery teams to deliver high-quality software solutions Ability to work on a project from inception to production independently with a cross-functional mindset Ability to add value to the team by mentoring, suggesting improvements or identifying optimisation opportunities Our Perks & Benefits… – Mental health and wellbeing initiatives – Sponsored social clubs, team events, and celebrations – Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to help you connect and get involved – Investment in your personal growth offering training for your advancement Does this job sound like you?
