Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (Remote Opportunity)

As a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend, you will be part of a fast-paced team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration. This is a contract position with the opportunity to be hired as a full-time employee after 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform project analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature, requiring extensive research and analysis
Make design and technical decisions for applications, ensuring high performance and scalability
Work in an agile development environment, ensuring process and policy compliance with organizational guidelines
Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
Support code deployments and configuration changes to production and non-production systems, following established procedures
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, implementing modern and successful solutions
Mentor software engineers, providing coaching and educational opportunities to help them grow
Participate in technology trainings and certifications to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
US citizenship or Green Card holder
Ability to work in PDT hours, with a preferred location on the West Coast (but open to other locations with flexibility to work in PDT hours)
5+ years of experience with languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
Experience with React, Svelte, and/or Angular, or willingness to learn React and Svelte
Familiarity with AI technologies (OpenAI, Vertex AI, Bedrock) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
Experience with test-driven development and writing automated unit tests
Demonstrated experience delivering product features and strong understanding of software design and architecture
Familiarity with the HTTP/HTTP2 protocol and the Software Development Life Cycle
