Your Impact Starts Here We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to guide engineering excellence on our Hiring Assistant team. You’ll lead technical decisions, shape UI architecture, and raise the bar across a modern React codebase. This is a high-impact role for a senior IC ready to drive frontend innovation—not manage people—and help a fast-moving, high-trust team build transformative AI-powered experiences. Lead frontend architecture and execution across projects within the Hiring Assistant team Partner with engineers, PMs, and designers to ship intuitive, high-performance UIs Mentor teammates through design reviews, pairing, and leveling up craft Write production React code and build reusable component systems Drive AI-powered interface innovation and intelligent interaction design Improve UI performance, accessibility, and development velocity through strong technical leadership The Foundation for Success – These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role: 4+ years of frontend engineering experience, including deep expertise in React Experience setting technical direction and supporting team-wide decisions A strong product mindset with a bias toward collaboration and iteration Deep knowledge of modern web architecture, performance optimization, and testing practices Comfortable mentoring engineers and enabling others to thrive Experience leveraging AI tools in frontend workflows (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf) Located in or willing to relocate to Toronto; hybrid in-office Tues/Weds The Homie Way Be Customer Obsessed – Solve problems with empathy and creativity. ⚡ Move Fast, Learn Fast – Experiment, take action, and grow every day.
