Senior Software Engineer (C#)

Our referencing backend is powered by Azure Functions, written in C#, enabling serverless and event-driven architectures. We use Azure Event Grid for seamless event-based messaging and Cosmos DB for data storage.We also use Terraform for infrastructure configuration, which allows us to manage our infrastructure as code and ensure fast and efficient deployments.Our mission:Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. The Opportunity:Work with product managers, designers, business colleagues and other engineers to understand end-user problems and implement appropriate solutionsAssist your squad by defining tasks end-to-end, delegating work and implementing the solutions with themUse your knowledge to continuously improve the platform, implement coding standards, and help define a technical roadmap of improvementsOffer to mentor less experienced developersContinuously develop your skillset via tailored professional development objectives and budgetWhat we need from you:Significant experience building web-based applications using C#Demonstrable skills in domain modelling using Object Oriented techniques and principlesProficient in writing automated tests using frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnitStrong knowledge of web application security and how to guard against common vulnerabilitiesStrong communication skills and can adapt to the technical level of your audienceWhat's in it for you: Grow with Goodlord: your development is important to us.
