The ideal candidate is a product-minded engineer with strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, particularly withPythonandReact. A day in the life: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologiesLead the design and implementation of robust, efficient technical solutionsCollaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive and engaging user interfacesBuild and maintain RESTful APIs across bothserverless and traditional architecturesEnsure performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility across applicationsPromote high engineering standards and mentor junior team membersWork closely with global cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and Business What you will need: 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experienceBSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related fieldStrong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue also welcome)Solid backend experience, with a preference forPython(Node.jsor Ruby also a plus)Experience working with cloud platforms and distributed systems (AWS is a strong plus)Proven track record delivering production-grade applicationsDeep understanding of databases, APIs, and web technologiesProficiency with GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Co-pilot, ChatGPT, Cursor etc.) to boost productivity, plus a growth mindset around continuously improving personal and team efficiency through AI Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with bothserverless (e.g., AWS Lambda)andnon-serverless architecturesBackground in insurance or related industriesComfort working with remote, distributed teams across time zones
