Senior Software Engineer

Zenzorrito Tecnologías SL is a dynamic company located in Granada, part of Badger Maps Inc. Badger Maps is a bootstrapped company that builds route planning software for field salespeople that dramatically improves operations through route optimization, smart scheduling, CRM integration, and other cool features!We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and help us build the next generation of our web-based routing platform. In this role, you'll work across the stack—both frontend and backend—shaping new product features, improving system performance, and contributing to the evolution of our architecture. What to expect: You will make a meaningful impact by participating in the development of new features and functionalities of our core SaaS productYou will be involved in all steps of the software development lifecycle, including ideation, discovery, refinement, development, and releaseYou will collaborate closely with QA, PMs, Designers, and Integrations teams, as well as our customer-facing teamsYou will have the opportunity to lead and work on a variety of projects, including product development, infrastructure, and securityYou will have the ability to improve the system infrastructure and architectureYou will be encouraged to propose improvements and explore ideas that drive impactYou will own post-mortems and work with the team to proactively prevent incidentsYou will participate in our practice of iterative product delivery. We value striking the right balance between clarity, maintainability, and speed of delivery What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience with full-stack web application development with Python, Django, Celery, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQLSomeone who is passionate about software product development and gets excited about the latest technologies & trends, and sharing that passion and knowledge with their teammatesExperience working with any of the following - AWS, web mapping APIs, CRMs, Test-Driven Development, Domain-driven development & Clean architecture & agile methodologies to deliver software (Kanban/Extreme programming)Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. We expect our Senior Software Engineers to not only possess technical proficiency, but also know how to leverage that to communicate with different audiences and make a greater impact across the organizationBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferable, but can be substituted with experience.
