The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help take Qustodio to the next level, making it a best-in-class solution for digital well-being in families and schools. As a key member of one of our new engineering teams, you will collaborate with engineers worldwide to build innovative, high-quality solutions. This role requires a team player with strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. Our cloud-based platform (GCP & AWS) includes: Backend RESTful services written in Go and Java Frontend client-side apps using React Multi-Platform Applications in Go & TypeScript deployed across laptops DevOps & Orchestration with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Run GitHub, trunk-based development, GitOps, Cloud Deploy BigTable, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached What You’ll Do Build scalable solutions that enable schools and families to manage millions of students’ digital well-being. Develop applications and tools that support experimentation, customization, observability, and quality. Contribute to engineering excellence by sharing expertise in leading technologies. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams across multiple locations. Requirements What You Bring Proficiency in server-side development with experience in microservices. Strong background in scalable and high-performance systems, handling large volumes of data. Passion for continuous improvement and enhancing the development and troubleshooting process. A test-driven mindset, prioritizing reliability and code quality.
