Our Bot Manager product is designed to provide top-tier cloud computing security, prevent data theft and mitigate large account takeover attempts. We build unique technology to handle petabytes of data and conduct billions of secure transactions daily Shape the future of security products As part of a Bot Manager Engineering team, you will be focused on building highly usable, reliable, and scalable software solutions for bot threat detection, protection and control feature. Allowing our customers to better manage bot traffic and help improve the internet for millions of people As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for: • Working on projects that improve our bot detection products making Akamai a leader in bot detection • Implementing new features, enhancing existing features and optimize functionality from conception and design through testing and deployment • Working on fixing customer issues in a timely and effective manner • Working on data analysis for web and mobile platforms • Working on making improvements to client side components like Java scripts on need basis Do what you love To be successful in this role you will need to have: 5+ years of overall software development experience, along with a relevant degree in Computer Science • Hands-on experience with Python and Golang, particularly in building web APIs • Strong understanding of software architecture, with the ability to write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code • Demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn • Capable of effectively managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines • Experience or knowledge in Machine Learning or Data Science is a plus Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai’s Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
