As the primary SRE for the engineering team, you will spend some time partnering with feature teams to ensure that the infrastructure and observability requirements are met and enable us to rapidly scale Vantage. Additionally, you will spend some time being the responsible party to ensure that our infrastructure, reliability and availability is best in class. The team is fast paced and is constantly shipping to production.What You Will Do:Work directly with our founders and engineers; collaborate on feature discovery, ideation and delivery.Guide technical architecture decisions to enable Vantage’s rapid growthBe the responsible party for our production infrastructure - ensuring it is designed and operated to meet the needs of our customers and is cost efficientWrite clean, testable, peer-reviewed codeWhat We're Looking For:A SRE with a passion for partnering with product teams to build features that delight customersStrong technical background, including 8+ years of experience building and operating SaaS products/platformsExpertise in building and operating services at scale in KubernetesExpertise in cloud-hosted Network design and operations (e.g. VPC, Peering, subnet definitions, NAT configuration etc)Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi etcExperience with observability and monitoring tools, particularly DatadogSomeone who enjoys staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in the SRE and DevX ecosystem to pull them into projects when appropriateSomeone excited to make progress and hold a high degree of responsibilityA kind personPay & BenefitsThe estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
