Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager (Remote - CET Hours)
About the position
LMG Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing eCommerce-focused digital agency specializing in Shopify development, CRO, SEO, and retention marketing for premium online brands. We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager to lead project delivery, manage client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple Shopify engagements. This is a freelance contractor opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, excels at stakeholder communication, and has strong experience managing Shopify projects from kickoff through launch and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences while maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
β’ Manage up to 7 concurrent Shopify and eCommerce projects including: Shopify builds, CRO initiatives, SEO retainers, Ongoing support engagements
β’ Maintain project timelines, budgets, documentation, and delivery quality
β’ Manage Asana boards, project schedules, risk logs, and change requests
β’ Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between development, design, SEO, and email teams
β’ Ensure projects stay within defined scope and performance expectations
β’ Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
β’ Provide proactive communication and updates via Loom, email, and meetings
β’ Lead recurring review calls and roadmap discussions
β’ Build long-term client relationships focused on trust, transparency, and growth
β’ Identify upsell and retainer opportunities where appropriate
β’ Facilitate weekly delivery meetings and project reviews
β’ Allocate tasks across designers and developers
β’ Conduct QA reviews and enforce agency standards
β’ Support junior team members through mentorship and process guidance
β’ Escalate risks or blockers appropriately to leadership
β’ Help improve SOPs, workflows, and internal documentation
β’ Contribute ideas for operational efficiency and process optimization
β’ Support retrospective reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
β’ Maintain organized project records and reporting structures
β’ Review project changes and support budget management
β’ Ensure projects remain aligned with business goals and profitability targets
β’ Assist with quoting, scoping, and proposal preparation when needed
Requirements
β’ 4+ years of experience in: Project Management, Account Management, Digital Agency Operations, Shopify or eCommerce environments
β’ Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystems and website delivery workflows
β’ Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously
β’ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
β’ Experience using project management platforms such as Asana
β’ Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
β’ Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
