Senior ServiceNow Developer (Secret Clearance)
Job Description:
We have an opportunity for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will serve as the key technical resource leading the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow implementation. The successful candidate will have fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles that enables them to work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. This is a fully remote job. ResponsibilitiesProven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.Prepare and present client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-relatedServe as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best practicesOverall responsibility for analyzing and documenting business processes and systemsFacilitate requirements gathering and document requirementsCollaborate with Product Designer to provide ServiceNow design supportCollaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgradesDesign and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces, and any other configurations required to support client processesPerform hands-on technical development work based on assigned user stories; conduct unit testing for each story assigned.Develop JavaScript server/client code as needed for integrationCreate and use update sets to move customer configuration between environmentsCreate and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysisBuild reports, gauges, and home pagesTroubleshoot and resolve issues during configuration, testing, and releaseAssist in troubleshooting patch / release management issuesEnsure environments are configured to the proper security standard, as well as configured for performance and high availability
Qualifications:
RequiredBS/BA in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management preferred)ServiceNow Application Developer and/or Implementation Specialist CertificationServiceNow Administrator CertificationMinimum of seven (7) years of professional experienceMinimum of two (2) years of direct development experience with the ServiceNow platformIn-depth knowledge of ServiceNow administration and development, security, data management, and integrationsDemonstrated expertise with ServiceNow APIs and integrationDemonstrated experience developing solutions consistent with architectural standards and ServiceNow best practicesMust be eligible to meet government eligibility requirementsMust currently maintain secret clearance Must have experience in SPM, GRC, APM, and custom applications PreferredThree (3) years of experience with core JavaScript developmentTwo (2) years of experience with web technologies such as DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, HTTPTwo (2) years of experience with Server-side technologies such as Rino, JellyThree (3) years of Database technologies such as JDBC, SQL, MySQL, OraclePrevious experience configuring and customizing all aspect of ServiceNow - UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Include Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Scripted Web Services, Rest and SOAP web services, Roles / Groups to name a fewUnderstanding and experience related to advanced ServiceNow development, including the following:Browser events, best practices in JavaScript coding, style sheets, jQueryThe Glide Stack, Jelly scripts along with SN extensions, server-side JavaScriptDatabase relationships, views, query definition, before/after business rulesExperience configuring ServiceNow ITBM, HRSD, and/or Security Operations applicationsFederal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred#LI-Remote
