In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our systems, data, and users. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, automate security processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and enhance a comprehensive vulnerability management program, including identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilitiesAutomate security processes, including asset management, vulnerability management, and patch management, using cloud-based tools and scriptingFocus on AWS security, ensuring robust protection across all aspects of our cloud infrastructureIntegrate security tools and processes into AWS, collaborating with engineering and operations teamsProvide security guidance throughout the development lifecycle, including secure coding practices and vulnerability assessmentsUnderstand and communicate the risk associated with vulnerabilities to stakeholders across the organization, providing actionable security guidanceDevelop and collect metrics to track the effectiveness of security initiatives Work closely with other departments to align security strategies with business goalsEnsure project plans and security documentation are complete and up to date, providing oversight and direction for security initiativesParticipate in retrospectives and other activities to continuously improve the security posture of the organizationRequirementsProven track record in automating security processes and integrating cloud-based security toolsDemonstrated experience in managing comprehensive vulnerability management programsHands-on experience with AWS security practices and toolsProficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, and JavaScriptPossesses a startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership, balancing high-quality work with a sense of urgencyExcellent problem-solving skills, capable of working independently with minimal guidanceStrong bias for action, proactively addressing issues and taking initiativeWillingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a weekWhy JoinGrowth and impact. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
