To ensure that our data remains secure, you will be a member of the Security Team within the IOPS track and work with our engineering teams to secure our applications, systems, devices, and environments. Depending on the need, you will introduce new components and develop the existing infrastructure. You’ll have an experienced, knowledgeable and close-knit team around you that is always available to support you and bounce ideas back and forth.Your responsibilitiesProactively find opportunities for security improvementsPerform security reviews and advise other teams with security-related questionsRecognize threats and triage upcoming vulnerabilitiesBuild solutions to improve the security of our infrastructure, network, and servicesAutomate security processes in the development life cycleCreate visibility by onboarding new events into our SIEMQualities we look forSeveral years of experience in a Security Engineer role as a generalist who can wear various hats under the Security umbrellaStrong technical understanding of vulnerabilities, threats, and developments in information securitySolid scripting, networking, and Linux skillsA personal interest in Security topics and engage in the wider Security communityA collaborative and engaging team player who is not shy in introducing their own ideasInterest in learning new technologiesHands-on engineering of automation and creative solutions to emerging problemsFluent communication in EnglishWe’d especially love to talk if you have:Experience with SIEM/SOC/Incident Response topicsExperience with Application/Software SecurityExperience in handling security topics for AI productsWhat we offerDiverse and internationally distributed team: joining our team means becoming part of a large, global community with people of more than 90 nationalities.
