As part of a large-scale 7-year S/4HANA transformation program, the company is strengthening its internal IT Finance capability by hiring an experienced SAP Controlling Business Analyst. As an IT SAP Controlling Business Analyst, you will play a central role in improving Finance & Controlling processes across multiple global sites.Acting as the link between business, functional experts, and external partners, you will support both operational evolution and large transformation initiatives. You will participate in the S/4HANA journey as a Controlling domain expert, designing future-state processes, delivering functional specifications, validating solutions, and accompanying rollouts across regions. You will also handle business-raised changes, challenge requirements, and propose optimizations to ensure efficient, standardized financial operations.Location:Remote or Hybrid, Occasional International Travel Required (EU, USA) Contract: Permanent Interview Process: Intro Call + 4 rounds with the client (HR → IT Finance & HR Manager → Integration Lead → VP Business Applications) Responsibilities • Lead SAP landscape evolution projects: architecture design, S/4HANA conversions, cloud migrations, upgrades, and BTP integrations. • Manage SAP technical operations and integrate new systems across diverse SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, Fiori).• Oversee deployment and configuration of SAP solutions across clients. • Handle environment lifecycle activities: version upgrades, system refreshes, cutover planning, and continuous improvements. • Provide Level 3 support and expert troubleshooting across multiple customer landscapes. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, stable, and high-performing SAP environments. Requirements • 7–10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO within an international industrial environment. • At least one full-cycle SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation, with hands-on configuration of Controlling modules.• Strong expertise in CO-PC (Product Costing), CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), Integration with SAP PP • Experience in manufacturing environments is required; metal industry experience is a plus. • Strong analytical skills and business process understanding. • Ability to challenge requirements and propose optimized solutions. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proactive, open-minded, and comfortable working in matrix teams. • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.• Fluent French & English (German is a plus).
