Senior Salesforce Developer

OverviewWe are seeking our new Senior Salesforce Developer to join the Axway team!The Senior Salesforce Developer will work cross-functionally with product, sales, engineering, services, and more to implement practical business solutions related to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will be able to support large-scale projects from start to finish, provide ongoing support, and respond quickly to changes/requests from the business as they occur. ResponsibilitiesImplement optimal solutions based on specifications on the Salesforce platformWork closely and collaboratively with Business Teams from multiple countries in a global team setting.Lead technical requirement gathering sessions and deliver complex technical solutions utilizing Lightning Components, Apex, Flow, Triggers, and Visualforce pages.Mentor the Axway Salesforce team, as necessary, working on all phases of the application development lifecycle.Contribute to Administrate our CI/CD ToolsManage change control according to development policyCreates Apex unit test cases, performs functional testing, and ensures proper acceptance testing for every Salesforce releaseTroubleshoot issues, identify root causes, resolve bugs and errorsRecommend changes in product, process, and service improvement in development and configurationSafeguarding Axway and Axway customer data through compliance with Axway policies and the appropriate use of Axway equipment and facilitiesQualificationsExperience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools.Experience with Lightning Components, Web Components, Design System, APEX Classes, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Approval Processes, Aura, and Flow.Experience in Salesforce CRM app development with strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Portals at an enterprise level of complexity.Experience with Administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Roles, User Security Models, Page Layouts, Email Services, Dashboards, Tasks, and Events...Experience with database design concepts and use of SOQL, SOSL, and SQL.Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML, WSDL and CSS.Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk).Experience leading activities on structured team development projects.Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods and practice Agile software development methodologies.Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and operations procedures including participation in code reviews.Experience with CPQDesired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience in CRM business processes like Forecasting, Campaign Management, Lead Management, Pipeline Management, Account Management, and Case Management.Experience with ETL and integration platform tools.Experience with Git, merging, managing branches, and resolving conflicts.Experience with manual/automated functional testing and unit testing.Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring technical teams of varying skill levels.Knowledge of data design, architecture, relational databases, and data modeling.Knowledge of Salesforce DX.Education, Certifications and ExperienceSalesforce Certified Developer credentials.Salesforce Certified Application/System/Technical Architect credentials a plus.BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent8+ years of development in Salesforce Company OverviewAt Axway, we’re more than a company—we’re a pioneer.
