Senior Salesforce Administrator

Overview: We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator with deep hands-on experience and strong leadership capabilities. This role will oversight the administration and strategic evolution of our Salesforce environment, including guiding the buildout of Salesforce from the ground up. The ideal candidate has successfully implemented Salesforce from scratch, established scalable architectures, and created governance frameworks for long-term platform reliability. This role will partner closely with our Salesforce Developer(s) to design solutions that best meet business demands, while also supporting a team transitioning to Salesforce. Advanced experience with Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) is essential. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Execution Partner with the Sr. Director and Minnesota Senior Leadership Team to design and implement the annual Arc of the Year plan, ensuring alignment with statewide goals and priorities. Coordinate workflows and priorities across departments and regions to support program delivery, adjusting strategies as needed to remain responsive to changing conditions. Translate organizational vision into actionable strategies and support Senior Managers in building work plans that drive member enrollment, retention of members/partners/funders, and overall program impact. Communication, Engagement & Stakeholder Relations Serve as a connector between the Senior Leadership Team, Senior Managers, and external stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication of goals, expectations, and priorities. Coordinate and manage internal and external meetings, agendas, and visits from state, private, and federal funders or local stakeholders. Represent the department with key stakeholders at meetings and events, ensuring alignment, engagement, and accountability across teams. Leadership, Supervision & Outcome Management Supervise assigned staff and project teams, providing coaching, direction, and resources to promote leadership, collaboration, and a culture of excellence. Deploy s upport for staff effectively to meet program and project needs. Establish and track key metrics (recruitment, retention, satisfaction, site partnership quality), using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and report outcomes to the Senior Director and leadership team. Additional : Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Education ( Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum Experience 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience across multiple clouds and complex environments. Advanced understanding of Salesforce platform and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) Proficiency in Flows, Validation Rules, custom apps/objects, workflows, user/security setup, and data-quality reporting. Experience establishing processes, standards, engineering best practices, and governance within a Salesforce organization. Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and support new Salesforce Administrator(s). Demonstrated skill partnering with Salesforce Developers and/or Solution Architects on large-scale system design.
