Will work closely with the managers of the Operations team to gain understanding of the Operational needs/requests and perform analytics to develop solutions that will support the various custom/Ad-hoc in nature business and Client requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop working solutions to custom client requirements and Data services automation requirements, keeping in mind product capabilities, scope limitations and the impact on integrated products employing SQL Server built in features and analytical methods;Design specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of administrative clinical data and Operational Product Data for IT Operational performance analysis using SQL Server Management Studio 2008/2012 R2;Design, code, test and debug custom SQL queries using Microsoft SQL queries, SQL Server Management Studio, Postgre SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services;Good knowledge and experience in Postgre SQL will be nice to have;Knowledge and experience with Big Data technologies like MapReduce, HIVE, HBASE, Pig will be good addition;Design, execute and implement IT Automation solutions and perform complex clinical and financial analytics as needed by clients and executive management, utilizing MS office suite and SQL database technologies;Prepare documents and presentation materials describing multiplatform IT Automation design and solutions, analytic methods, observations and findings of analytics, and/or business logic flow employing MS office suite;Perform root cause analysis to identify data flow issues/ system performance issues and/or data discrepancy issues of the IT Operations team;Serve as an expert resource to develop and implement Operational performance tracking models, analytical and statistical models on large HealthCare-data bases;Identify and Perform analytics on manual operational bottlenecks across various Product offerings for performance optimization and streamline IT operational deliveries;Designs and develops software product applications for automating the manual Operational tasks across various Product offerings. Involved with full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation and auditing;Ensures designs, code and processes are optimized for performance, scalability, security, reliability and maintainability;Assists less experienced peers with the Automation and Operational tasks, analytical functions and processes; Use SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services to design, develop and perform advanced-level Data Analysis in support of the product offerings; andGood knowledge of HEDIS will be helpful.Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; andWe reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such.Job Requirements:5+ years of experience in the job offered, or Senior Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related role;Experience with analytic and data management or software development environment;3 years of experience with developing database driven projects using T-SQL or PL/SQL on SQL Server/Oracle;1+ year(s) of experience with developing and working with Postgre SQL;1+ year(s) of experience with developing and working with BigData technolgoies like MapReduce, HIVE, HBase and Pig ;3+ years of experience with involved or participated in the Automation initiatives;3+ years of experience with MS Excel (intermediate/advanced level Excel incorporating visual basic, and/or excel macros), PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint; and3+ years of experience with SQL database tools.Education:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study; andMaster’s degree plus 2 years of experience, Employer will accept a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study, plus at least 5 years of experience in the job offered, or Senior Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related role.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time);Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motionsSubject to inside environmental conditions; andTravel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits PackageIn addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
