In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the engineering team for a leading health platform, allowing users access to thousands of gyms across Brazil and Mexico. Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain scalable and resilient RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Participate in the full development cycle: architecture, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Work on enhancing the core system (monolith) as well as on microservices and integrations with partners.
• Ensure technical quality through Code Reviews and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Monitor and optimize performance through tools like APM, resource tuning, and query analysis.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary squads in an agile (Scrum/Kanban) model.
• Engage with projects using TypeScript and mobile technologies as needed.

Requirements
• Proven experience and expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs (design, documentation, consumption).
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Familiar with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec) and understanding of testing approaches.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Ownership mentality: autonomy, proactivity, and commitment to delivering value.
