About the position Responsibilities • Review commercial property protection, including fire protection and water supply analysis • Conduct onsite visits to assess property and Nat Cat exposures and develop detailed reports to relay conditions and provide recommendations for improvement • Analyze building construction, fire protection features, process operations and special hazards • Work hand in hand with the network of specialized engineers of AXA XL Risk Consulting to serve clients • Build credibility with and create customer satisfaction by demonstrating the value of risk engineering services Requirements • Experience with Large Property sites • Robust working knowledge of NFPA Codes, FM Data Sheets, and local requirements • Robust working knowledge of fire protection or willingness to learn • Engineering or Science based undergraduate degree; Chemical Engineering preferred • Ability to apply industry experience to a broad range of customers and projects, consult effectively on a broad range of property risk controls, and identify exposures/assess controls on complex risks • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of underwriting and customer partners • Ability to listen effectively and make sound assessments/conclusions based on review of written procedures, documents, discussions, and observations • Ability to make technical information and recommendations understandable to a broad range of audiences • Ability to communicate in a manner that influences others to accept and act on recommendations • Self-starter, continually looking towards individual development • Capable of managing their schedule and resources, continually assessing workload considering business priorities • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and effectively with internal and external partners • Valid driver's license required Benefits • Competitive compensation and personalized, inclusive benefits • Robust support for Flexible Working Arrangements • Enhanced family-friendly leave benefits • Diversity and Inclusion initiatives • Health and wellness programs • Retirement savings plan • Learning opportunities for professional development Apply tot his job
