Senior Remote Janitorial and Environmental Services Supervisor

Our client is looking for a highly organized and dedicated Senior Remote Janitorial and Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee and manage cleaning operations across multiple client sites, all from a remote location. Your duties will include remote supervision of cleaning staff, performance monitoring, inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, and developing efficient work schedules. You will utilize digital tools for task assignment, performance tracking, and reporting. A key aspect of this role involves conducting virtual site inspections and audits, providing feedback and training to on-site teams. You will also be involved in client communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction with our cleaning services. This position requires exceptional organizational abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining immaculate environments. The ability to motivate and manage remote teams effectively is crucial. Responsibilities: Develop and implement standardized cleaning procedures and protocols for various environments. Conduct virtual inspections and audits of client sites to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and safety regulations. Supervise and manage a remote team of cleaning staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement and distribution. Develop and optimize cleaning schedules to ensure efficient service delivery. Train on-site staff on new cleaning techniques, product usage, and safety procedures via remote channels. Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding cleaning services, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Analyze performance data and implement improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with remote teams and clients. Qualifications: Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or environmental services management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams effectively. Proficiency in using digital tools for task management, communication, and performance tracking (e.g., MS Teams, Slack, project management software). Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for various surfaces and environments. Excellent understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations (e.g., OSHA, CDC guidelines). Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to conduct thorough remote assessments and provide constructive feedback. Experience in creating training materials for remote delivery. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related field is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
