About the Role: Remote DevOps Engineer We're seeking an experienced Remote DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the integration of IT operations and development teams across our organization. As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices, testing procedures, and accelerating project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high productivity, reliability, and scalability of applications Develop and track key metrics and KPIs to quantify product quality and engineering efficiency Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless source code control management Perform architectural and code reviews, validation, and code deployment in phased releases Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement performance tuning Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, test, and production environments Provide strategic suggestions for potential projects that can drive impactful results Work closely with software development teams to deploy and operate systems efficiently Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in DevOps practices Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, Perl, and C# Expertise in CI tools like Jenkins, Travis, Azure, and others Experience working with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker Knowledge of source control systems, including Git and Subversion Fluency in English to effectively interact with engineering managers at U.S. software companies The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with U.S. time zones Preferred Skills: To stand out in this role, you should have: Experience with the Node.js ecosystem, including API development and TypeScript Knowledge of database technologies, release management, REST, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure Attention to detail, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills The ability to work with minimal supervision and lead projects to successful outcomes What We Offer At Turing, we provide our team members with: Elite U.S. job opportunities with top-tier clients Long-term, full-time opportunities for career growth and stability The flexibility to work from anywhere in the world Competitive compensation packages Career growth opportunities and professional development Access to our exclusive Developer Community Upskilling workshops and career development sessions Networking meetups and referral programs Why Join Turing?
