This position is responsible for leading weekly and monthly performance reporting against Plan, analyzing business trends, and developing executive-ready financial packages. The Senior Analyst acts as a key partner to stakeholders by translating complex financial results into clear insights and by driving a deeper understanding of business performance across the organization.Forecasting & PlanningLead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of executive-level financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong narrative qualityAnalyze complex weekly and monthly financial results to identify key drivers, emerging trends, and performance risks, translating findings into clear, actionable insightsPartner closely with the BP&A team to support forecasting, planning, and budgeting cycles, ensuring alignment of reporting with business priorities and assumptionsProactively raise concerns or highlight opportunities to management based on evolving financial trends, variances, and performance indicatorsSynthesize large datasets into compelling stories using visuals and clear explanations that enable decision-makers to quickly understand business performanceCommunicate complex financial information to senior and executive leaders with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of business contextDrive continuous improvement in reporting processes, models, and data structures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generationPractice MaturityDevelops, communicates, and maintains requirements for reporting and finance system enhancements; facilitates business support throughout the technical development process.Mentors other department colleagues through formal training and by example.RequirementsRequires 4+ years of related experience in financial / business planning and analysisA general understanding of insurance operations and the implications on financialsExperience with financial modellingMS Office Suite with advanced Excel (e.g. Vlookup, IF statements, ISERROR formulas, etc.)Strong business acumen to be able to tie financial results to develop narrativeMathematical acumenInterpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skillsResearch, analytical, and problem-solving skillsOrganization, multi-tasking, leadership, and time management skills with attention to detailPreferred SkillsKnowledge of macros and/or Visual Basic (VBA) would be beneficialFinancial services and insurance industry knowledgeWorking knowledge of ERP systems and tools (e.g. SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) tool)#LI-KT1SkillsAnalytical Thinking, Business Trends, Detail-Oriented, Emerging Trends, Financial Trends, Management Reporting, Problem Solving, ReportingCompensationExpected compensation for this role ranges from $ 77,200.00 - 124,075.00 annually.
