We are constantly working to improve our software and its features. A skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will not only be a great contribution to that but also a key player for the QA team. You will apply your skills across the software development lifecycle to contribute to the ongoing success of the project. ⭐ How will you make an impact? Leads test strategy and automation first approach for projects. Mentor the team on test design best practices. Establishes testing standards and guidelines across teamsPerform thorough and effective manual testing to ensure product stability, usability, testability, and performance on web and mobile platformsChampion quality within our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring testing is integrated seamlessly into automated build and deployment workflowsServe as the QA point of contact and trusted quality advisor for multiple squads, providing expert guidance, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistent quality standardsBuild a deep understanding of the Lodgify platform architecture and business workflows to proactively identify risks, edge cases, and opportunities for test improvementTake ownership of QA deliverables and risk management during development and release cycles, ensuring clear and timely communication with all stakeholdersUse tools like Datadog, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and heat-maps to monitor live user behaviour, detect production issues early, and provide actionable feedback to product and engineering teamsContinuously evaluate and improve QA processes, workflows, and tools while driving test automation initiatives with the Automation team to increase coverage, reduce manual effort, and ensure scalable, reliable testingDocument, track, and prioritise defects based on impact while reviewing requirements and design specifications to ensure clarity, feasibility, and testabilityMentor junior QA engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and promote a strong culture of quality and continuous learning across squads. ⭐ What makes you a great fit? 4+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, with solid experience in manual testing for complex web and/or mobile applications in an agile environmentGood understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests integrate into build and deployment workflowsStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)Hands-on experience with Datadog, RUM tools, Test & Project Management Tools(Xray/Jira), and heatmaps to monitor application health and user behaviour, plus solid understanding of API testing, client-server architecture, debugging, and log analysisExcellent defect reporting, documentation, and communication skills with fluency in English; able to clearly explain risks and impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences through strong written and verbal communicationEmpathy for end-users and good business understanding to align QA efforts with customer expectations.
