Senior QA Engineer

Remote position within Argentina or Uruguay RYZ is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join one of our clients in e-commerce. Qualifications: - 4 + years of experience in Software testing or Quality Assurance - Proficient in API testing, and automation with basic programming skills like scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation - Strong understanding of API testing principles, methodologies, and tools - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) - Troubleshoot complex technical issues and work closely with engineering teams to resolve them - Experience with issue tracking, configuration management tools, workflows, and practices such as JIRA - Experience making data-driven decisions - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Knowledge of REST API Testing and exposure to tools like Postman, or Swagger Key Responsibilities: - Identify, document, and track software defects and issues - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Karate automation framework - Extending Test Framework for APIs and Front end/Backend testing - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality - Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies - Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks - Collaborate with development and engineering teams to understand system requirements and functionality About RYZ Labs: RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
