Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst
A Typical Day A Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst designs and executes test plans and carries out exploratory testing and unit test development as part of a broader risk-based approach. This role will work closely with our Software Engineering and Development team. Responsibilities • At least 5 year of experience in Testing • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs • Develops/writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected • Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling, and system workflows • Work with end-users to broaden their understanding of systems and their requirements • Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements • Monitor debugging process results • Creating automated test • Collaborating with developers and project managers • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies To explore more about this opportunity and discover other exciting roles, simply type 'Sophilabs Careers' in your favorite search engine. Qualifications • At least 5 year of experience in Testing • Working knowledge of Selenium, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java • Experience with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Postgre SQL, or similar • Fluency in English (C1 or +) • Full-time availability • A positive attitude and desire to improve is a must • Demonstrates attention to detail, customer success focus, problem-solving, planning and organizing skills Preferred qualifications • Experience maintaining automated testing suites as part of larger build and deploy pipeline maintained on platforms such as GitlabCI • Experience as a Software QA Engineer including experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, and other • Familiarity with SQL database management language • Full-time and Remote availability We offer An opportunity to grow and develop your career with training, English support and courses, investment days, books, conference support, coaching, and 360 feedback.
