This is a remote position. The Senior QA automation engineer we are looking for is a developer with a keen sense for finding weak spots in products and has a strong understanding of how to achieve comprehensive test coverage. A successful candidate will lead the efforts to design and implement a QA Automation strategy for our solutions. The candidate will work with their team to develop this strategy and to introduce and implement a robust test automation solution. The Senior QA Automation will be responsible for Refining requirements and translating them into designs, Developing automated QA solutions to satisfy business needs, Implementing solutions in a timely manner, Mentoring and helping junior team members Requirements Strong experience and knowledge in Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Hands on experience designing and implementing a test automation strategy Back-end and web application development experience SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and database design knowledge Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience with Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of experience with Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent 5+ years of experience working on QA automation Experience working in an agile (scrum) software development team Hands on experience in working with SQL queries Hands on experience in automating API testing (REST, SOAP) Hands on programming experience in C# and Javascript Experience with the latest tools and industry best practices In-depth knowledge of QA concepts, test frameworks and automation tools Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and curiosity. Experience with understanding business use cases Open minded, easy to communicate with, team player, able to learn quickly, able to work both independently and as a member of a team Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
