Senior Project Procurement Manager – Aero
Job Description:
• Lead the Balance of Plant (BOP) supply chain management team in projects
• Fulfill sourcing commitments towards the project
• Report to the BOP Sourcing leader
• Support the Project Manager (PM)/Project Director (PD) as the main procurement contact
• Responsible for all supply chain management activities for BOP equipment and spare parts
• Prepare & apply a common approach to defining and applying contract requirements
• Coordinate on- and offshore procurement activities
• Develop Engineering Procurement Plan (EPP) and project-specific sourcing concepts
• Review and update the purchasing strategy with project stakeholders
• Verify budget with Project Finance Manager and resolve discrepancies
• Execute large commercial transactions through supplier negotiation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• 7 years experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain or project management
• Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, as required
• Strong analytical project management and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
