Senior Program Manager - SaaS Platform Development
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee the strategic execution of complex software development initiatives within their cutting-edge SaaS platform division. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects from inception to launch. You will be instrumental in defining project roadmaps, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategies. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to collaborate both in-office and remotely, fostering a balance between in-person team synergy and focused independent work.
Responsibilities:
Define, plan, and execute program strategies and roadmaps for multiple concurrent SaaS product development projects. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams comprising engineers, designers, product managers, and QA professionals. Establish and maintain robust project management processes, methodologies (Agile/Scrum), and best practices. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, developing proactive mitigation strategies. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and timeline adherence for all assigned programs. Drive continuous improvement in program execution, team performance, and product delivery. Conduct regular project reviews, status updates, and retrospectives to ensure transparency and alignment. Champion a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability within the program teams. Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as required. Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance, aligning with client expectations. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, with a strong focus on software development and SaaS products. Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-year projects with budgets exceeding $10 million. Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with PMP, CSM, or similar certifications being a significant plus. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage distributed and cross-functional teams effectively. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and modern technology stacks. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar. Strategic thinking and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and hybrid work environment.
