Senior Program Manager, Product Development

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager, Product Development to join their innovative team. This Hybrid role, based in our client's headquarters in San Jose, California , offers the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. You will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional product development programs from inception through launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of product development lifecycles, and a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive program success in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop and manage detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, marketing, operations) throughout the product development lifecycle. Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and dependencies. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Track program progress and report on key milestones and metrics to senior leadership. Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as required. Ensure the successful launch and adoption of new products and features. Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and methodologies. Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks to ensure program momentum. Champion best practices in agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on product development in the technology industry. Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs from initiation to completion. Expertise in program management methodologies, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and hardware development processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). Ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively. Strong risk management and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in the semiconductor, hardware, or SaaS industries is a plus.
