This role is designed for a product leader who actively uses AI to sharpen discovery, accelerate delivery, and generate deeper insights — replacing manual research, reporting, and backlog management activities with smarter, faster approaches that raise the quality bar across every initiative. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AI-Augmented Product Strategy & Roadmapping Own and drive product strategy in alignment with company and product leadership objectives; use AI tools to analyze market signals, synthesize stakeholder input, and identify roadmap opportunities faster than manual research allows. Translate strategy into multi-quarter roadmaps aligned to OKRs and business metrics — leveraging AI to model prioritization scenarios, surface trade-off implications, and stress-test assumptions across clinical, operational, financial, and technical constraints. Lead cost-benefit and ROI analysis to guide prioritization; use AI-assisted modeling to accelerate business case development and increase analytical rigor. Drive roadmap alignment with senior leadership, using AI-generated summaries and impact narratives to communicate clearly and efficiently. AI-Powered Discovery & User Research Lead discovery efforts including stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, and workflow optimization — using AI tools to synthesize qualitative research, surface patterns, and generate insights from large volumes of user and clinical feedback. Use AI to analyze product feedback, support data, and usage patterns to continuously inform and reprioritize the product backlog with evidence rather than assumption. Support and maintain the product's feedback collection mechanism; leverage AI to process and categorize customer feedback at scale and convert it into actionable feature backlog items. AI-Assisted Backlog Management & Story Writing Own a complex, multi-initiative backlog; use AI tools to draft, refine, and quality-check user stories — ensuring consistent inclusion of acceptance criteria, non-happy path scenarios, edge cases, integration dependencies, reporting requirements, and monitoring & alerting requirements. Apply AI to accelerate backlog refinement, sprint planning preparation, and release readiness documentation — reducing manual overhead while improving story quality and team clarity. Consistently demonstrate best practices in backlog refinement, story writing, and release readiness; set the standard for AI-augmented product delivery practices across the team. Actively participate in and lead Agile ceremonies including refinements and sprint demos. Data, KPIs & AI-Enhanced Impact Reporting Define KPIs and success metrics for initiatives; specify event tracking requirements (e.g., Heap instrumentation) for key user behaviors. Partner with Data teams to develop dashboards and post-release impact reporting — using AI to accelerate dashboard design and automate the generation of outcome summaries for leadership. Use AI-assisted analytics to proactively monitor initiative performance, detect early signals of underperformance, and recommend course corrections before issues escalate. Communicate initiative performance, roadmap updates, and outcome metrics to senior leadership; use AI tools to generate concise, high-quality executive reporting efficiently. Stakeholder Partnership & Risk Management Act as the primary product partner to clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders; influence prioritization through AI-informed ROI analysis and data-driven business cases. Partner with Engineering and Architecture on system-level design decisions and technical trade-offs; use AI to rapidly evaluate alternative approaches and their downstream implications. Define and communicate comprehensive release readiness criteria including UAT, operational readiness, clinical validation, data validation, and compliance checks. Proactively identify and mitigate product and operational risks using AI-assisted risk modeling and scenario planning. Qualifications and Requirements 5+ years of Product Ownership or Product Management experience. Demonstrated ownership of complex product domains or multi-team initiatives. Experience in Scaled Agile environments with distributed teams. Required: Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate product discovery, backlog management, reporting, or stakeholder communication — with specific examples you can speak to. Experience defining analytics frameworks and KPI measurement models. Experience developing ROI analyses and business cases. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations. Experience mentoring or leading other Product Owners preferred. Healthcare, pharmacy, or Medicare Advantage experience preferred. Preferred Experience Experience using AI tools for qualitative research synthesis, user story generation, or product analytics (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, or similar). Familiarity with AI-powered product analytics platforms (e.g., Heap, Amplitude, or similar with AI features). Experience with prompt engineering in a product management or research context. Experience with FHIR/HL7 or pharmacy data standards. MBA or advanced degree.
