Senior Product Manager I

This role requires a deep understanding of expense management, travel and spend management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution, ensuring our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations while staying ahead of industry trends. What You'll Do: Responsible for driving product development for a major product focus area spanning more than one full engineering teamCollaborate on building business case, defining product vision and strategyCreate systems and processes to capture qualitative insights (pain points, performance issues, support tickets, feature requests etc.) and track product analytics (usage, adoption, retention and conversion behaviours) and structure, organize and surface this information to guide product design, iteration and prioritization for maximum business impactCommunicate status of project with stakeholdersManage the prioritized feature backlog and bug processCreate clear and concise product specs, test, iterate and drive to launch, partnering with Engineers and Designers on product developmentDrive consensus and identify key metrics for upcoming projectsAs primary accountable for delivery of the roadmap: facilitate expedient decision-making with business teams, oversee the development process with product and engineering teams and shepherd the go-to-market process with sales, marketing, training and customer support teamsOwn features, end to endStudy market trends and competitive offerings, research, monitor, and analyze industry and competitive trends regularly; provide updates and recommendations to supervisorLead analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to determine the right set of features to drive engagement and usage of assigned applications/productsEngage with prospective ecosystem partners and internal business development teams to showcase the product, understand integration needs and support execution required to earn these partnerships What We're Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, economics, public relations, statistics, advertising, management or related field, or equivalent experienceExperience: 7+ Years of Product Management experience, coupled with a deep understanding of software development and a strong focus on mobile application developmentAdvanced experience in customer development, product definition, feature scoping, and balancing tradeoffs for industry-leading business software productsExpertise in designing, launching, and optimizing mobile solutions (iOS and/or Android) to enhance user experience and engagementStrong analytical skills working with Excel and SQL queryingAbility to write clear product requirement documentsUnderstanding of technical constraints and when to involve engineeringAbility to identify signal from noise, focusing on the most impactful decisions in a customer-facing contextAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamStrong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully Additional Information Why Emburse?Finance is changing—and at Emburse, we’re leading the way.
