You’ll own the oversight and management of your category, from market research to analysis to messaging and campaign creation. Your initiative and desire to work in a fast-paced environment will be the key to success as this role is held by those who are self-starters that possess great personal leadership. Main Activities/Responsibilities: Product Lifecycle Management Understanding and managing the optimal portfolio of products, identifying gaps as well as constant cleansing via SKU rationalization to drive the greatest value at all times. Managing the ongoing pricing strategy and supporting the inventory investment plans New Product Development and Evaluation Managing the New Idea Funnel Identifying and evaluating new product and business ideas Creating the business plan and market strategy for the new product and executing the project from concept to launch Overall Category Oversight and Management Creating a 1 & 3+ year category strategy and execution for focused Revenue Growth Managing the calendar of growth activities throughout the plan year Conceive and create thought leadership and educational content to broaden the awareness and understanding of our product Initiate, manage, and optimize lead-gen activities including trade conferences, webcasts, email marketing, and SEM Improvement of Margin metrics achieved via Pricing Actions and COG improvements Maintain and update B2B and B2C website content, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy of information Market Analysis and Reporting Keeping surveillance on internal and external category activities Competitive evaluation of market dynamics and planning Actively monitoring monthly, quarterly business rhythms and proactively executing optimization strategies Competencies: Excellent verbal & written communication skills with a drive for Operational Excellence Strong Business and financial acumen with ever growing curiosity Strike the difficult but important balance between being Creative and Analytical “Can do” and “got it done” attitude Experience in designing and executing marketing and communications programs Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, specifically with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc. Analyze large datasets on historical sales performance, gross margins to maximize profits and optimize pricing accuracy and efficiency Education and Experience: Brand/Category Management 7+ years of product or category management experience College degree required, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Healthcare Advanced Degree preferred Medical device experience/Clinical Experience preferred Portfolio Management across multiple categories preferred Why Apply to Drive DeVilbiss… Competitive Benefits, Paid Time Off, 401(k) Savings Plan Pursuant to New York law, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides a salary range in job advertisements. The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements. The provided salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible according to the company’s policies.
