Senior Product Manager Summary: CarNow is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive execution and delivery of high-impact product initiatives across our AI-powered platform. This role is ideal for a product leader who can translate real-world dealership workflows into scalable, data-driven solutions. The Senior Product Manager will own roadmap execution, lead discovery efforts, and partner cross-functionally to deliver cohesive product experiences. This role works closely with Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to build solutions that improve dealership performance and drive measurable business outcomes. This position is best suited for a hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity, understands complex systems, and is comfortable working at the intersection of data, automation, and user experience. Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and maintain multi-release product roadmaps across key platform areas. Translate product vision into structured, dependency-aware release plans with clear scope and success criteria. Ensure product capabilities launch as part of a cohesive, end-to-end value chain. Discovery & Problem Definition Develop a deep understanding of dealership operations through direct user engagement and workflow observation. Identify workflow inefficiencies, operational gaps, and revenue opportunities. Translate customer pain points into actionable product requirements for Engineering and Design. Execution & Delivery Partner closely with Engineering on system design decisions impacting long-term scalability and platform capabilities. Collaborate with Design to deliver intuitive, role-based user experiences that drive adoption and trust. Align with Sales and Go-to-Market teams on product positioning, rollout strategy, and early customer impact. AI & Data Strategy Define product requirements for AI-driven features including scheduling automation, behavioral insights, and predictive modeling. Establish data requirements, sources, and confidence frameworks that inform system behavior. Balance automation with human decision-making, designing for progressive autonomy over time. Metrics & Outcomes Define success metrics such as retention, no-show reduction, recovery rates, and revenue impact. Build feedback loops and instrumentation to continuously improve product performance. Own business case development and prioritize initiatives based on measurable outcomes. Requirements: (5+ years of product management experience, preferably with data-driven or AI/ML products. Proven experience owning complex product areas or platforms end-to-end. Strong understanding of event-driven systems, state management, and system behavior at a product level. Experience designing products that balance automation with user trust and decision-making. Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, effective product documentation. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automotive technology, dealership operations, or DMS/CRM ecosystems. Background in B2B SaaS platforms, particularly CRM, lifecycle marketing, or engagement tools. Familiarity with propensity modeling, behavioral analytics, or lead scoring systems. Experience supporting multi-phase product releases with active customer usage. Exposure to financial modeling or revenue-focused product features.
