What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all applicable environmental regulations across legacy, existing, and new products
Provide guidelines and support as the environmental product compliance subject matter expert
Lead product environmental stewardship registrations and permitting applications
Respond to inquiries from external stakeholders related to environmental compliance
Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure cohesive product requirements definition
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent
5-9 years of related work experience in regulatory or product compliance
Strong understanding of consumer electronic products and medical device environmental regulations
Experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, or related industry preferred
Proficient in MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Masters in policy, materials, engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of EU CE Marking process related to medical device certification
PLM system experience (Arena preferred)
Demonstrated experience working with Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs)
Familiarity with best practices when implementing compliance processes and procedures
