The work will include a balance of tactical improvements to existing experiences, larger re-designs of existing experiences, and designs for net new capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of user experience principles, design taste, product sense, research aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver elegant and effective solutions to customer problems that drive our business forward.What you’ll doLead the design of complex features and products from concept to launchCollaborate with product managers to define product strategy and requirementsConduct user research and usability testing to evaluate design decisionsCreate high-fidelity prototypes and design specificationsPresent design solutions to stakeholders and articulate design decisionsContribute to the design system and establish design patternsWhat we’re looking for5+ years of experience in product designStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product designExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong understanding of user-centered design principlesProficiency in design and prototyping tools (we use Figma).Experience with design systems and pattern librariesInterest and ability to run research to evaluate your design decisions.Ideally experience in B2B SaaS working with large enterprise customers.Why join Design at Great QuestionLead end-to-end designsGiven the size of our team, you’ll be responsible for everything from the early concepting through high-fidelity prototyping and visual design. You’re not just given a set of requirements to design – you’re helping or leading the definition of those requirements. Work where Design is highly valued and baked into operationsProduct strategy and shaping discussions include leaders from Design alongside Engineering, Product and Founders (CEO / CTO).
