My passion for design, user experience, and human-computer interaction has been the driving force in my career. I started my journey as a designer over 15 years ago while studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Boston University. I then went on to join Microsoft as a software engineer before transitioning into product management. I worked on advertising, stores, and was part of the founding team for Microsoft Teams. You’ll own the whole design process—from learning about users and sketching ideas to crafting polished prototypes that are ready to ship. A lot of tools out there are clunky and frustrating, and we’re on a mission to change that by building simple, elegant interfaces that make teams more productive without all the headaches.In this role, speed of execution and attention to detail are critical. We iterate a lot—usually 7+ times before we even loop in engineering and 10+ times before we launch anything. We course-correct quickly based on real customer feedback and how people actually use the product. It’s not about designing in a vacuum; it’s about making sure what we build really works for our users.We work hard to ensure Motion’s team is one of the highest talent-density teams in the world. We have accomplished in weeks or months what it would take larger teams years to do. You will be successful in this role if:You know your way around Figma and can crank out everything from quick wireframes to polished prototypes. You’re comfortable working fast, keeping files organized, and using components and design systems to keep things clean and consistentYou are ambitious and always looking for ways to improve.
