Senior Principal Product Security Automation Engineer

A global supply chain and logistics company is hiring a Senior Principal Product Security Automation Engineer to lead their product security automation for current products as well as next-generation products. You'll provide cutting edge security automation guidance, while also staying hands on, implementing new solutions. You'll also define technical security automation strategies and work across teams to implement overall product security strategies and architecture. Ideal candidates have at least 8+ YOE in software development, at least 4 of which are in infrastructure engineering, devops, devsecops, or application security. Experience in public cloud enviornments, infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes deployments are also a must. In terms of cybersecurity, work with offensive security, cloud security, or application security are needed. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, strong communication skills are needed. This role is remote, with 2 optional days in office. Remote candidates MUST live near Atlanta, GA; Plano, TX; Grand Rapids, MI; Milwaukee, WI; or Nashville, TN. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years in cybersecurity, software development, devops, devsecops, application security, product or cloud security roles • Extensive experience building out product security automation • Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI, or related public cloud service • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, or CDK • Exposure to CI/CD security and DevSecOps best practices • Hands-on experience participating in security design and architecture reviews • Ability to communicate clearly across engineering and non-technical teams The Offer You Will Receive The Following Benefits • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Vacation Time • Much more Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
