What youll be working on
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions that meet business requirements.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices for performance, security, and scalability.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.Optimize existing systems and services for performance, stability, and maintainability.Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.Work independently, managing your own tasks and priorities, while effectively communicating progress and any blockers to the team.
About you preferred requirements for this role
4 years work experience as a PHP developer;Strong knowledge of PHP 8.1+ and modern language features (typed properties, attributes, enums, etc.);Experience with one or more PHP frameworks: Laravel (preferred) or Symfony;Solid understanding of OOP principles, SOLID, DRY, KISS;Ability to design and build RESTful;Proficient with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including indexing and query optimization;Proficient with NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch, etc);Experience with queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS)Confident use of Git, Composer, and Docker in daily workflow;Familiarity with automated testing tools (PHPUnit, etc.);Experience working with version control and CI/CD pipelines;Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Nice to have:
Experience with microservices architecture;Background in building or maintaining high-load systems;Skills in profiling and performance optimization of PHP code;Understanding of DevOps workflows: Docker Compose, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.);Experience integrating external APIs, payment gateways, etc
