Senior PHP Consultant
This is a remote position.We are looking for a Senior PHP Consultant for our client who will play a key role in maintaining a legacy system, handling incoming support tickets, and ensuring the stability of existing applications.This role focuses on the ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a PHP-based system (v5.4), contributing to the continuity and reliability of core business operations.RequirementsWhat You’ll Be Doing
Take ownership of incoming technical requests and drive issues to resolution end-to-end
Work hands-on with a legacy PHP (v5.4) system, keeping it stable and reliable
Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix bugs in a live production environment
Play a key role in ensuring business continuity by maintaining critical systems
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of PHP experience, with a strong senior mindset
Proven experience working with legacy systems (you know how to navigate and improve them)
Ability to work independently and proactively in a support-driven environment
Good to Have
Experience in support, maintenance, or ticket-based roles
A pragmatic mindset - someone who enjoys solving real-world issues over building from scratch
Ability to quickly understand and adapt to existing codebases and workflows
